This dummy spindle is made of zinc plated steel.
The package contains two spindles and four mounting screws.
The dummy spindle is used for attaching traditional glass door knobs to doors when a non-turning doorknob is needed and the spindle does not need to go all the way through.
This antique door knob spindle is easy to install. Pre-drill two pilot holes (do not drill through the door), attach the spindle with screws, secure the backplate, and screw on the knobs.
