The fastners looked great, but unfortunately I had to return them. We have my wife's grandparents 120 year plus old bed, which is a 3/4 bed. I was hoping the male ends were going to work with the female pieces on the head & foot board. They didn't! I ended up taking apart the 71" side rails and made new ones at 82". Sorry it didn't work out!
